B.Sc. Cardiac Care Technology (CCT) Lateral Entry

3 Years Degree / Direct 2nd Year Entry

Critical Heart Care Training

The Bachelor of Science in Cardiac Care Technology is a specialized undergraduate program offered under IKG Punjab Technical University norms. It is aimed at developing highly skilled technologists to support cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons in delivering advanced cardiac care.

This program equips students with in-depth knowledge of human cardiac anatomy, physiology, pathology, and the use of modern diagnostic and therapeutic equipment such as ECG, Echocardiography, TMT, Holter Monitoring, Cath Lab procedures, and life support systems.

Students undergo intensive training in clinical settings, enabling them to assist in cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiology, cardiac surgeries, and intensive coronary care. The curriculum integrates theoretical learning with hands-on clinical exposure, ensuring competency in handling emergencies like heart attacks, arrhythmias, and cardiac arrest situations.

Professional Excellence & Upgradation

Alongside technical expertise, the program nurtures compassionate care and critical decision-making. We provide a Lateral Entry pathway for students who have completed a Diploma in Cardiac Care Technology, allowing them to upgrade their skills and qualifications directly into the 2nd year of the degree program.
